Camp Spartan
June 25 – July 1 | Pittsfield, VT
Envision a military-style boot camp for kids ages 8-17 enduring five days (June 26-30th) of challenging work.
They’ll be working with veterans from Mt. Warfare school, Olympic wrestlers, and Ivy League horticulturists.
Guests include philosophy instructors, writers, and artists.
Summer Death Race
June 30 – July 3 / 2023 | Pittsfield, VT
The Peak Races Death Race is the world’s toughest race. Period. Founder and CEO Joe De Sena says it’s not up for debate and he’ll do whatever is necessary to keep it that way. “I’m going to take things up a notch so that there’s never a discussion again.” Named the “Death Race,” it is a celebration of human potential. The most difficult race in the world, not only for its physically demanding challenges but also for those designed to frustrate and confuse you.
In 2018 racers faced 3,000 burpees, and all night trek over the infamous Bloodroot Gap, a 30,000-foot rope pull, and a Guinness World Record claiming a 12-hour crawl under barbed wire. Expect the unexpected in 2022, but be sure more records and spirits will be broken.
This race will change your life if you are courageous enough to commit today.
Mt. Sparta 24hr Challenge

Welcome to the Mt. Sparta 24HR Challenge that will be hosted at the Riverside Farm. After testing the concept with some crazy members of the Peak Races community in the summer of 2020, we believe we have an epic, fun, yet ultimate challenge that will push you Beyond Your Limits.
Woodsplitter MTB Challenge

Are you ready for a mountain bike challenge like no other?
You will be challenged to see how many times you can complete a marked loop course within a 6-hour time limit. Each loop will cover ten miles of mind, body, and technique testing terrain incorporating classic GMT standbys and recently hand-built gnar. In the spirit of all Peak races, this is an opportunity to test your limits.
Winter Death Race
February 9-11 / 2023 | Pittsfield, VT
Welcome to the Winter Death Race! You may have heard of the world-renown DEATH RACE created by Spartan Founder Joe De Sena? Now Joe and the team are bringing back the Winter Death Race to Pittsfield, Vermont in 2022. As with the spirit of the Death Race, participants will be put through the winter elements for 50+ hours of mind-bending mental and physical tasks that are designed to break the strongest of individuals.
Snow Devil Snowshoe Race
February 10 – 11 / 2023 | Pittsfield, VT
The course will be a gorgeous 6.5-mile loop in the Green Mountains of Vermont. Each loop will have 1200 feet of elevation change and sweeping views of the surrounding mountain ranges!
